3.2 Sellers:

  • Sellers must provide accurate and truthful information about their listings, including fragrance authenticity, condition, and size.

  • Sellers are prohibited from listing counterfeit, fake, or unrecognized duplicate products.

  • Sellers must ship items promptly after a sale, using tracked delivery where required.

  • Sellers acknowledge that payments will only be released upon proof of delivery. Untracked deliveries may delay or void payments.

  • Sellers are responsible for ensuring that shipments comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding the transport of fragrances.

4. Fees and Payments

  • The Fragrance Exchange charges sellers a transaction fee of 15% of the selling price for each successful sale . This fee includes an admin handling fee and escrow costs.

  • Buyers may be subject to a swap fee or other applicable charges for special features.

  • Payment processing is handled through secure third-party providers. The Fragrance Exchange does not store payment details.

5. Escrow Services

  • To ensure secure transactions, The Fragrance Exchange employs a seller-buyer feedback mechanism. Payments are held until the buyer receives the product and confirms its condition. If the seller can prove delivery through tracking or other means, payment may be released.

  • Payments from buyers will be held by the Fragrance Exchange and only released to sellers upon confirmation of delivery to buyer.

  • If disputes arise, the escrow funds will remain on hold until resolved.

6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  • The Fragrance Exchange is not responsible for the authenticity, quality, or condition of items listed on the platform.

  • The Fragrance Exchange is not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from transactions between buyers and sellers.

  • The Fragrance Exchange does not guarantee the availability of specific items or features at any given time.

7. Returns and Refunds

  • Returns and refunds are subject to the seller’s individual policies, which must be clearly stated in their listings.

  • The Fragrance Exchange does not handle or process returns. Buyers and sellers must resolve return requests directly.

  • Buyers have a 14-day cooling-off period as required by law; however, they are responsible for return postage costs unless otherwise agreed with the seller.

  • Sellers and buyers must communicate respectfully and professionally.

  • Inspired-by fragrances and Arabic-type scents are permitted on the platform, provided they are clearly identified as such. Sellers must not attempt to pass these products off as genuine branded pieces.

  • The Fragrance Exchange reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these terms. Misrepresentation of a product’s authenticity, such as claiming an inspired-by fragrance is genuine, will result in immediate account suspension and removal of the listing.

9. Shipping and Delivery

  • Sellers must use tracked delivery for all shipments to ensure proof of delivery.

  • Buyers are encouraged to confirm shipping details before completing a purchase.

  • Any delays, damage, or losses during shipping are the responsibility of the carrier (the delivery service selected by the seller to transport the item) and the user (the buyer or seller involved in the transaction).

  • Sellers found listing fake or prohibited products will have their accounts permanently suspended.

  • Buyers are encouraged to report suspicious listings immediately.
